  • Day 1: Hanoi Arrival

    Arrival at Noi Bai airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.

  • Day 2: Hanoi – Cuc Phuong National Park (B, L, D)

    Depart to Cuc Phuong at around 7:30 am. Arrive in Cuc Phuong at 10.00, you will visit Endangered Primate Rescue Center - one of the highlights of a visit to Cuc Phuong, where you can observe some of the rarest primate species in the world - followed by lunch in a local restaurant at park headquarters. After lunch, visit the Cave of Prehistoric Man, where human skeletons and stone tools dated to some 7.500 years old have been found. After leaving the cave, the car will bring you to the park center where you will start your hiking to Thoundsand year old tree, then back to settle into your bungalow room. Dinner and sleep with the sounds of the jungle.

  • Day 3: Cuc Phuong National Park– Muong Village (B, L, D)

    After the sounds of the jungle have lulled you to sleep in a modern bungalow, you will awake refreshed, have breakfast before starting your adventure. You will trek through the forest, about 18km passing some rocky slopes with breathtaking scenery, to reach the Muong village in Hoa Binh province. In this village the hospitable people will offer you a great meal, musical performance and a wonderful night’s stay in a traditional stilt house.

  • Day 4: Muong Village – Hoa Binh – Hanoi – Train to Sapa (B, L)

    You will be woken by the roosters, buffalo and other sounds of the village. Have breakfast and walk around the village before departing from new found friends by bus or motor-bike. Depending on your time, you can also raft along the Buoi River, having lunch before saying goodbye to the local communities to get back to Hanoi for a night train to Sapa. Overnight on a train.

  • Day 5: Sapa - Cat Cat - Y Linh Ho – Tavan (B, L, D)

    Early morning arrive at Lao Cai station, our guide will pick you up and drive to Sapa for another trekking tour. You will first sneak through the market and leave the busy town behind. After a couple of minutes, you will follow a road going downhill to Cat Cat village. You will stop by a waterfall and a hydroelectric station for a while, you trek on a dirt trail through rice paddy terraces. You will also enjoy spectacular scenery while walking along a narrow river. You eventually arrive in Y Linh Ho village of Black Hmong minority, where you can take a rest while you are served lunch nearby the river. After lunch, you will continue to Muong Hoa valley. You will pass through Lao Chai village of Black Hmong minority and then Tavan village of Giay minority by following a very popular trekking route. You will spend the night in local house of Giay minority. You will be able to take a walk to enjoy the valley view as well as swim in the river nearby.

  • Day 6: Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai - Ban Ho (B, L, D)

    Today, you will continuously visit Red Dao people at Giang Ta Chai where you also see a waterfall. The Red Dao women have very colourful red embroidery and coins on their clothes. On their head they wear a red scarf. You will walk along small paths into the rice fields, crossing the Muong Hoa River and arrive to the Tay village Ban Ho (900 m above the sea level)). Tay is the most populous of the hill tribes. Because of the development and adaptation to the Vietnamese society, some of them have started wearing Vietnamese csotumes. But most women still wear the traditional checkered headscarf. You will stay overnight in a wooden Tay stilt house. Dinner and overnight in Ho Village.

    Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai - Ban Ho (B, L, D)
  • Day 7: Ban Ho – Thanh Phu – Nam Cum - Sin Chai (B, L, D)

    Today you will trek through Ban Ho valley. After morning coffee and delicious breakfast, you will head out on the trail. You will cross several suspension bridges before you arrive in Thanh Phu village of Tay minority. On the way you have a chance to visit local schools. You will trek uphill toward Thanh Phu for your lunch. After lunch time, you trek to Nam Cum then head to Sin Chai village of Red Dao minority where the night will be spent in a local house. You will be attracted by the wonderful hospitable atmosphere of the Red Dao people.

    Ban Ho – Thanh Phu – Nam Cum - Sin Chai (B, L, D)
  • Day 8: Day 8: Sin Chai – Nam Nhiu – Nam Sai – My Son - Sapa – Train to Hanoi (B, L)

    Say goodbye and leave Sin Chai for the trek back to Sapa. You will trek to Nam Nhiu, Nam Sai, visit the xapho people in My Son. After lunch, continue the trek to Thanh Phu bridge where your car is waiting for you to drive you back to Lao Cai station for a night train to Hanoi.

    Day 8: Sin Chai – Nam Nhiu – Nam Sai – My Son - Sapa – Train to Hanoi (B, L)
  • Day 9: Hanoi – Dong Hoi – Phong Nha (B, L)

    Arrival in Hanoi station around 5am, transfer to a mini hotel for your refreshment before taking a flight at 12.20 to Dong Hoi. You will meet your guide and driver. After lunch, transfer to Phong Nha for hotel check-in. Rest of the day is free at your own pace. Overnight in Phong Nha.

    Hanoi – Dong Hoi – Phong Nha (B, L)
  • Day 10: Phong Nha - Tan Hoa - Tu Lan (B, L, D)

    You will depart from Phong Nha to Tan Hoa Village, it takes about an hour and half to get there. On arrival, you will trek to visit Hang Chuot and La Ken Valley, then lunch is served in La Ken valley around 11.30. Afterward, continue to visit Gibbon cave and then trek to Hung Ton valley to explore and swim througt Hung Ton wet cave. Tonight, you will camp at To Mo valley for your dinner and overnight stay.

    Phong Nha - Tan Hoa - Tu Lan (B, L, D)
  • Day 11: Tu Lan Valley (B, L, D)

    Today, you will first start swimming through Kim cave to get to Tu Lan valley then trek to Tu Lan Valley. Once there, you will prepare the camp site for lunch. After lunch, you will visit Hang Ken by swimming in the cave. Dinner and overnight in Tu Lan valley.

  • Day 12: Tu Lan - Tan Hoa - Phong Nha – Hanoi/Saigon (B, L)

    After breakfast, you will visit Tu lan cave and trek back to Tan Hoa village over the hills. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant. You will get transferred to airport for your onward flight to Hanoi or Saigon. End of services.
