  • Day 1: Hanoi Arrival

  • Day 2: Hanoi - Cuc Phuong National Park (B, L, D)

    You will take  a 90km drive to south of Hanoi to Cuc Phuong Natinal Park, which is one of Vietnam's oldest national parks and consequently one of the best managed. It's approximately 22, 000ha of subtropical forest and karst limestone scenery, and home to an extraordinary range of unique species. Apart from exploring the forest, you will visit the park's Endangered Primate Centre, where you'll be able to see two of the rarest species in the world, the critically endangered Delacour and Cat Ba langurs. Overnight in the park.

  • Day 3: Cuc Phuong – Mai Chau Homestay (B, L, D)

    After breakfast, you will visit one-thousand-year-old sequoia tree, cave of Prehistoric man in Cuc Phuong National Park. Then drive to Mai Chau, which is situated in its pretty valley with a patchwork of rice paddies, farms and stilt houses. The area is the home of many ethnic minorities, including Muong and Thai. Tonight your dinner and accommodation are at white Thai’stilt house.

  • Day 4: Mai Chau – Hanoi (B, L)

    Following breakfast, you will take a lovely walk around Lac village and Van village. You can drop in the local villagers and chatting with them about their daily business, logging or herding the buffalo. Have lunch in Mai Chau before returning to Hanoi for your overnight stay.

  • Day 5: Hanoi – Ba Be National Park (B, L, D)

    After an early breakfast at the hotel, you will head to Ba Be National Park, which is a reserve in Bắc Kạn Province, Northeast region of Vietnam, setting up to protect a freshwater lake (Ba Bể Lake) along with surrounding limestone and lowland evergreen forests. It is located about 240 kilometers northwest of the capital city Hanoi. It takes a 7 hours drive. Traveling through the flatlands of the Red River Delta and up into the mountain areas north of Hanoi. Lunch enroute. You will arrive Ba Be Town in late afternoon, rest of the day is free to stroll around the village before sunset. Overnight in homestay in Tay Village.

  • Day 6: Boat Cruise on Ba Be Lake (B, L, D)

    You will take a private boat for a cruise on the Ba Be Lake or if the waether permits you will have a swim in crystal clear waters.  Have lunch near the Dau Dang Waterfalll. A visit to this small hamlet will enable you to witness how little the lives of the people in these remote areas have changed. Cruise back to the Pac Ngoi village for your overnight stay.

    Free to explore the Ba Be National Park before heading back to Hanoi for your overnight stay.

  • Day 8: Hanoi – Halong Overnight Cruise (B, L, D)

    Head to Northeast of Hanoi to Halong Bay recognized as World Natural Heritage Site. Sip on a refreshing welcome drink upon check in before  beginning cruise through the bay. Feast on a delicious lunch as cruising among hundreds of islets (Dinh Huong islet, Ga Choi – Fighting Cock islet, Dog islet, Finger islet, etc.) to discover unspoilt pockets of Halong Bay and visit Sung Sot cave, one of the most imposing grottos of the Bay. Swim at Soi Sim beach or Titov beach or a short trek to the top of Titov mountain for a magnificent panorama scenery. After visiting Amazing cave, take a kayak from Soi Sim beach to Luon Cave to enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the bay (or from Bo Nau cave, to Soi Sim beach to TiTov). Enjoy dinner with fresh seafood on board. Squid fishing or relax and chat. Overnight on board.

  • Day 9: Halong - Cat Ba National Park (B, L)

    For early risers complimentary tea, coffee, fruit and cake are served. Visit Luon cave on small bamboo boat paddle by out crew staff and enjoy the quiet atmosphere enclosed by high islets and mountains. Be back to our Junk. Sail past rock formations such as Man’s Head islet, Tortoise islet, Butterfly cave, Lion islet, Bai Tho mountain, enjoy the tranquil scenery as the boat meanders its way through the bay on the way back to Ha Long city, etc. Check out onboard at around 10.00 am and enjoy a wholesome brunch as boat weaving through strange-shaped limestone rock formations before transferring to a Day boat to Cat Ba Island. On arrival, you will have a 2 hour conquering the Ngu Lam Peak located in Cat Ba National Park. If tiem permits, you will visit military cave on the way back to Cat Ba Town for your overnight stay.

  • Day 10: Cat Ba Island – Lan Ha Bay – Viet Hai Fishing Village (B, L)

    The highlights today are taking a boat to Lan Ha Bay and swimming or kayaking; Visiting Viet Hai Fishing Village. Lunch served on the boat. Then back to Cat Ba Island for your overnight stay.

  • Day 11: Cat Ba – Hai Phong - Hanoi (B)

    Free for swimming or being at your own pace before taking a hydorfoil to Hai Phong where your driver returns you to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.

  • Day 12: Hanoi – Dong Hoi – Phong Nha Cave (B, L)

    Morning flight to Dong Hoi. On arrival, you will visit Phong Nha cave, which UNESCO recognized as a World Natural Heritage. Take a boat along Son River pass through river and forest to Phong Nha Caves and enjoy the wonderful sights of this cave. You will stop to visit Cung Dinh cave, Tien Cave and Bi Ky Cave with beautiful limestone formations. Overnight in Dong Hoi.

  • Day 13: Phong Nha – Hue – Bach Ma National Park (B, L, D)

    Morning drive to Bach Ma National Park, which is dominated by a single 1, 448m peak wrapped in tropical monsoon forest below and topped by sub-tropical vegetation. You will visit Do Quyen Waterfall - is astounding and huge in the wooded mountain. It is more than 300m high and 20-30m wide. It is amazing to watch the silver water running into the bright red of water-rail flowers. Rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight in the park.

  • Day 14: Bach Ma – Hue – Hoian City Tour (B, L)

    Leave for Hoian Ancient Town. On arrival, an afternoon walking tour will take you through the narrow streets of the Ancient Quarter visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200- year old Tam Ky ancestral house and Japanese Covered Bridge. Free for shopping and overnight in Hoian.

  • Day 15: Farming in Tra Que Village (B, L)

    You will take a bike ride to a local farm in Tra Que village. After an orientation tour around the garden. Join the farmer to prepare the land and fertilize it with seaweed from the local lake. Continue by next steps such as raking the ground, sowing, watering greens, picking greens and many more gardening activities. Then spend the rest of the morning to work on the land. Prepare lunch with the local family. Your lunch consists of many local delicacies including “ tam huu “ spring roll, Banh xeo or local pancake made by people’s middle region. Return to your hotel in Hoian. Rest of the day is at your own pace and overnight in Hoian.

  • Day 16: Hoian – Nha Trang – Dalat (B, L)

    Take a morning flight to Nha Trang from Danang airport. On arrival, you will be transferred up to Dalat. Rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight in Dalat.

  • Day 17: Da Lat City Sights (B, L)

    Today you will visit Bao Dai villa, Truc Lam pagoda, Tuyen Lam Lake by cable car and Dantala waterfall. After lunch,  continue to Nam Ban Village and Elephant fall – a popular stop on the Easy Rider trail, these imposing curved falls are the best screen from below; a hazardous path heads down to the base – expect to get wet. Nearby, the Linh An pagoda has been built to take advantage of the good “Feng Shui” of having water in front and a mountain behind. Insides, the large central Buddha is flanked by two multi-armed Buddha. The one on the right has eyes on his hands, making him all – seeing, while the one of the left has extra arms to help people in need. Around the back is a particularly jolly giant – a Happy Buddha with neon halos and a room built into his ample belly. The falls situate near the town of Nam Ban, 30 kilometers west of Da Lat. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Dalat.

  • Day 18: Da Lat – Dak Lak – Boat Cruise on Lak Lake (B, L, D)

    After breakfast, you will take a 150km drive to Lak Lake along the highway 27. You can admire beautiful landscapes and imposing sights in this highland of Vietnam and stopover to take nice pictures. On arrival Lak Lake, check in at the hotel for refresment.  An afternoon tour including a boat cruise on unique boat on Lak Lake to enjoy the mountain Chu Yang Sin, fishing village, Bao Dai hill, Lotus Lake… Have dinner with special dishes of local ethnic and enjoy traditional music of M’Nong minority. Tay Nguyen Gong music called” Cong Chieng” of minority people in Central Highland was recognized as World Oral and Intangible Heritage by UNESCO Overnight at villa or Lak resort.

  • Day 19: Lak Lake - Buon Ma Thuot – Dalat (B, L)

    This morning you will get transferred to Buon Ma Thuot for visiting Akothon minority village of Ede ethnic people, Museum and Dray-sap waterfall for more enjoyment of beauties of Central highland and seeing coffee and tea plantations. Next, you will continuously travel to Don village and have time to see suspension bridge across Srepok River, ancient house on stilt of Laosian, which is over 100 years old, then go shopping of special local products. Llunch will be served at a local restaurant in Don Village. You will also have chance to take an elephant ride in Don Village to get the feeling to ride and sit on a real elephant; spend free time discovering more of minority people cultures and customs in Don Village till transferring back to Dalat for your overnight stay.

  • Day 20: Dalat – Cat Tien National Park – Crocodile Lake (B, L, D)

    Morning leave Dalat for Nam Cat Tien park located on the other side of Dong Nai River.  Arrival at Headquarters of Cat Tien National Park, you will have lunch before driving through a 9km green forest plus a 5km trek to Crocodile Lake. Enjoy the beauty and tranquility of nature and watching green peafowl and water birds dancing in wildlife. Return to Park Headquarter Park for your dinner and overnight stay.

  • Day 21: Park Headquarters – Safari Night (B, L, D)

    After breakfast,  spend your free time wandering around the Headquarters and discovering the beauty of natural world as well as admire a variety of trees and listen the sounds of jungle.

    Cat Tien National Park have now been home of 1610 species of 724 genera, 162 families and sub-families, 75 classes of vascular plants, with the dominant species being from the Dipterocarpaceae, Fabaceae and Lythraceae families. Some rare species in the IUCN Red Book can be named such as Afzelia xylocarpa, Sindora siamensis, Dalbergia bariensis, D. cochinchinensis, Dalbergia mammosa, Pterocarpus macrocarpus... Tonight, after dinner then drive along the jungle trails to observe wild animals such as deer, wild pigs, snakes, porcupines, gaur (rare) and weasels when they forage for food on the grasslands or in bushes during the night. Overnight in Park Headquarters.

  • Day 22: Park Headquaters – Vinh Long Homestay (B, L, D)

    After breakfast, you will take about 5 hour drive to Vinh Long. On arrival, you will visit Vinh Long market, Tien Chau Pagoda and the Fish-Rafts village. In the evening, you may help to prepare dinner with a local family. Perhaps learn how to cook Vietnamese food while chatting with the host family about the Mekong inhabitants’ life.  Overnight in homestay.

  • Day 23: Vinh Long – Tien Giang - Can Tho (B, L)

    Take a morning stroll along the village paths or try cycling or rowing sampan. Discover an ancient house in Tien Giang before having lunch with a traditional music performance. In the afternoon, drive to Can Tho for your overnight stay.

  • Day 24: Cai Rang Floating Market – Long Xuyen - Bird Sanctuary – Ho Chi Minh (B, L)

    Early morning you will take a boat trip to visit Cai Rang Floating Market, one of the busiest floating markets in South East Asia. You may even purchase some local tropical fruits here. After seeing how the locals live and sell their products of fruit and vegetables on their boats, you will drive to Bang Lang bird sanctuary, which is mainly overgrown by huge bamboo and is home to thousands of storks and many other birds. You will have a good view over the entire bird sanctuary from a viewing platform which can be reached via a spiral staircase. As you are more or less on the same level with the treetops, you can watch the tall animals with their long beaks from here extremely well. In the distance the birds are discernible as many white patches in the green of the trees. Return to HCMC for your overnight stay.
