Traveling from north to south on a comprehensive tour of Vietnam to gain educational knowledges from volunteer work, school visits and enjoy the cultural and historical sightseeing tours throughout Vietnam.

  • Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (D)

    Arrive at Hanoi International airport. You will be met and transferred to hotel for check in. If time permits, you will have the ticket to Thang Long Theater to enjoy Water Puppet Show before having dinner. Overnight in Hanoi.

  • Day 2: Learning about the Food Project - Hanoi Culture Tour – School Visit – Ophanage Village (B, L, D)

    Early morning you will get transferred to project location that you will be observing the community service project.  From here our guide will explain about the project till everyone fully understands the work and requirements of the project. The work can be commenced by tomorrow. Afterward you will have breakfast “Vietnamese Pho – Noodle Soup” in a local restaurant and take a half day tour of Hanoi including Ho Chi Minh Complex, Presidential Palace, One Pillar Pagoda, Ethnology Museum and Temple of Literature. In the afternoon, you will visit a secondary  or high school or university and an ophanage village in Hanoi. Dinner and overnight in Hanoi.

  • Day 3: Attending the Food Project – Visit Handicraft Villages (B, L)

    Wake up early in the morning, transfer to project location to join the community service project that you learned. It takes almost a half day to complete the project. Then you will visit a series of Handy Craft Villages such as Ha Dong Silk, Bat Trang Pottery, Dong Ki Wooden Sculpture, and Dong Ho Painting. Dinner and overnight in Hanoi.

  • Day 4: Hanoi – Halong Overnight Cruise (B, L, D)

    Depart to Halong, which is considered the 8th wonders of the world. On arrival, board on our junk. Your 24 hour cruise begins....., and seafood meals will be served during your boat trip. Stop to visit Surprising Cave and conquer the Titop Beach. Dinner and overnight on board.

  • Day 5: Halong – Hanoi (B, L)

    Wake up by morning breeze. Have breakfast on board before taking a sampan to

    visit Luon cave. Return to the boat to continue discovering the wonder of creations.

    Lunch will be served while heading back to Halong pier. Return to Hanoi for your dinner and overnight stay.

  • Day 6: Hanoi - Hue (B, L, D)

    Morning flight to Hue, which was Vietnam’s Capital since early 18th century. On arrival, you will visit Ancient Citadel and Purple Forbidden City, which had many buildings and hundreds of rooms. It suffered from termite and cyclone damage, but was still very impressive. Many bullet holes left over from the war can be observed on the stone walls. Proceed to Thien Mu pagoda and Tu Duc Tomb. After dinner at local restaurant, you will take a boat on Perfume River to enjoy the traditional music show performed on the boat. Overnight in Hue.

  • Day 7: Hue School Visit – Hoian (B, L)

    Today, you will visit a secondary  or high school or university in Hue before driving to Hoian via Danang. Stop at Hai Van Pass for taking photos. After lunch in Hoian town, a walking tour includes Japanese Covered Bridge, Phung Hung Ancient House, Phuc Kien Temple and Hoian Museum. Dinner and overnight in Hoian.

  • Day 8: Cooking Class – My Son Sanctuary (B, L)

    After breakfast, you will meet the chef and take a short walking trip to the market. The market tour will give you an insight not just into the scents and flavor of Vietnamese herbs and spices but also market culture - how to bargain and where to buy your goods. Return to the restaurant. The cooking class will be in the restaurant’s kitchen. The chef will talk you through today's dishes then guide you through each dish, give you plenty of opportunities to get involved and try your hand at reproducing the flavors. Dine on the dishes you have just prepared.  After lunch, you will visit My Son Sanctuary, which was the Kingdom of Champa. Overnight in Hoian.

  • Day 9: Hoian – Saigon City Tour (B, L)

    Morning fly to Saigon. On arrival, a half day tour of Saigon includes Reunification Hall, War Remnant Museum, Post Office, and Cathedral. Rest of the day is free at your own activities. Overnight in Saigon.

  • Day 10: Cu Chi Tunnels – School Visits (B, L, D)

    Morning, you will visit Cu Chi Tunnels, one of the few remaining Monuments to Vietnam War. Beneath the ground lie 200 km of tunnels, dug by hand and inhabited by the forces of the Vietnamese guerillas during the conflict. At its peak, prior to the Tet Offensive in 1968, the tunnel complex was base to almost 10,000 troops. To this day, it remains one of the most impressive examples of how fierce the war used to be. Arrive back to Saigon around noon for lunch. Afterward, you will visit a secondary or high school or university in Saigon. Dinner and overnight in Saigon.

  • Day 11: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta - Homestay (L, D)

    Morning depart to Vinh Long which is part of the Mekong Delta. On arrival, you will visit Vinh Long market, Tien Chau Pagoda and the Fish-Rafts village. In the evening, you may help to prepare dinner with a local family. Perhaps learn how to cook Vietnamese food while chatting with the host family about the Mekong inhabitants’ life.  Overnight in a homestay.

  • Day 12: Mekong Delta (B, L, D)

    Take a morning stroll along the village paths or try cycling or rowing sampan. Discover an ancient house in Tien Giang before having lunch with a traditional music performance.In the afternoon, take a boat trip on small canals to visit a bonsai garden, an orchard, coconut candy workshops, bamboo basket weaving, and palm leaf weaving to discover the daily activities of the local people. More cooking lessons tonight whilst making dinner. Overnight in homestay.

  • Day 13: Mekong – Ho Chi Minh (B, L)

    After breakfast, you will take a boat trip to Cai Be floating market, one of the largest floating markets in Southeast Asia, which is unique to the Mekong Delta Region.  On our return journey to Saigon there will be time to visit a rice paper making workshop before returning to your hotel in HCMC for your overnight stay.
