This 3 day bike tour takes you through the world-renowned region of the River Kwai, home to the infamous World War II bridge and Death Railway.

Following a wide range of trails, including quiet back roads, red laterite jeep trails with some off-road jungle trails. The first part of the tour is relatively undemanding and requires no technical ability. The cycling gradually becomes more challenging and on the final day there are some off-road descents. 

 

  • Day 1: Kanchanaburi Cycling Tour 3 Days

    6:30-7:00: Pick up from your hotel in Bangkok 7:00-9:30: Drive to Kanchanaburi 9:30-10:40: Visit sights in Kanchanaburi - Bridge / War cemetery  10:40-12:00: Train ride along The Death Railway to Kraset Caves cemetery  12:00-13:10: Lunch and visit Kraset caves  13:15-16:30: Cycling to Muang Sing, visit museum and park before transferring back to hotel.  16:30-19:30: Free time  19:30: Dinner and overnight in Ban Kow

  • Day 2: Ban Kow - River Kwai Noi - 60km (B, L, D)

    8:00-9:00: Breakfast  9:00-15:00: Cycling to Resotel mainly flat with a mixture of jeep trails and tarmac, quiet back roads. Lunch at local restaurant on the way.  15:00-19:30: Free time at the hotel. Options are: Relax by the pool, Thai massage, or a boat trip to a Mon village 19:30: Dinner at local restaurant.

  • Day 3: Kwai Noi - Hellfire Pass - Bangkok - 18 + 20km (B, L)

    7:00-8:00: Breakfast  8:00-11:00: Cycling to Hellfire pass  11:00-12:00: Walk to pass and visit museum 12:00-13:00: Lunch  13:00-14:00: Drive back to Kanchanaburi  14:00-15:00: Visit war museum (optional)  15:00-17:30: Drive back to Bangkok
