This relaxing and fascinating adventure offers the chance to escape from frenetic Bangkok and combine the historical, cultural and natural sites of the River Kwai region, from the famous Bridge over the River Kwai, to ethnic hilltribes.

  • Day 1: Bangkok – Kanchanaburi (L, D)

    After the pick-ups from Bangkok hotel, you'll drive from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi to visit the Thailand-Burma Railway Center and the War Cemetery of Allied Prisoners of WWII. You will also get to see the world-famous "Bridge over the River Kwai."  Take a long-tail boat from the pier to Jungle Rafts, passing by unspoilt mountainous jungle scenery. Check-in on arrival then have lunch. Take an exciting boat ride downstream to Resotel Pier and then visit the Hell Fire Pass Memorial. Have dinner at the hotel, and watch a 45-minute presentation of Mon Dance. Overnight in Kanchanaburi.

  • Day 2: Kanchanaburi (B, L)

    After breakfast, you will visit the nearby Mon Tribal Village. You may also participate in an optional Elephant ride through the bamboo forest. Lunch will be served at the hotel. Rest of the day is at your own pace. Overnight in Kanchanaburi. Optional tour: Elephant riding through the bamboo forest.

  • Day 3: Kanchanaburi – Bangkok (B)

    After breakfast, you will take a historic ride on Death Railway Train, passing lush forest. Continue by air-conditioned vehicle to Bangkok. Tour ends at your hotel in Bangkok.
