A 3 day tour to River Kwai Resotel in Kanchanaburi, Thailand will captivate your heart and become one of your unforgettable experiences.  

This 3 day tour through Kanchanaburi province gives you the chance to enjoy its rugged scenery while gaining insight into the area's tragic WWII history. Tour includes visiting the War Museum, Allied War Cemetery and famous Bridge over the River Kwai. You will also visit Hell Fire Pass Memorial and a ride on the Death Railway which cuts through picturesque countryside and cost thousands of POWs lives.

  • Day 1: Bangkok – Kanchanaburi (L, D)

    The day starts with a pick-up from your Bangkok hotel in the downtown area. Then head to Kanchanaburi, where you'll have a short visit at the War Museum (Thai-Burma Railway Center), an interactive, information and research facility dedicated to presenting the history of the Thailand-Burma Railway. Next you'll visit the War Cemetery of Allied Prisoners of World War II, the resting-place of more than 6,000 allied prisoners of war. You'll also visit the world famous "Bridge over the River Kwai" a part of the Death Railway constructed by Allied POWs. Continue your trip by taking an exciting long tailed boat ride, passing beautiful, unspoiled scenery of jungle and mountain ranges along the Kwai Noi River.  After lunch, you'll take another exciting boat ride downstream to the Resotel Pier and continue the tour by visiting Hell Fire Pass Memorial.  In the evening, a 45-minute traditional Mon Dance will be performed by the villagers for you. Dinner and overnight in River Kwai Resotel.

  • Day 2: Kanchanaburi (B, L)

    After breakfast at the hotel, you'll visit the nearby ethnic Mon Tribal Village. You may also ride elephants throught the bamboo forest (optional activity).  Lunch will be served at local restaurant. The afternoon is at your leisure. Overnight in River Kwai Resotel.

  • Day 3: Kanchanaburi – Bangkok (B, L)

    In the morning, head out for a brisk walk in the jungle area or avail of some of the excellent optional tours offered by the resort. After check-out you will go for lunch at a local restaurant.  Next, you'll board the train (at around 13:00) on the original Death Railway Train, passing over dangerous looking wooden viaducts. Upon arrival at your disembarkation station, you will be transfered back to your hotel in Bangkok. End of services...
