Paradise Cave is a UNESCO's World Heritage Site. The cave was discovered by a local man in 2005 and considered the longest cave in the world. The whole 31 km was explored and publicly announced by the British cave explorers. The height can reach to 100 m and 150 wide. The limestone formation is also more spectacular than that of Phong Nha Cave. The British cave explorers were impressed by the beautiful and spectacular stalactites and stalagmites inside this cave and they named it Động Thiên Đường.

The Vinh Moc tunnels are used by North Vietnam army to fight against the Americans during the Vietnam war and used by the civilian population to protect themselves from the American bombing. These tunnels cover several kilometers on the north shore of the Ben Hai River.

 

  • Day 1: Paradise Cave and Vinh Moc Tunnels (from Hue)

    Our guide and driver will come to meet you at your hotel in around 7:00am and drive to west branch of Ho Chi Minh Haighway where you will visit the most beautiful cave named Paradise, which was discovered by a local man in 2005 and 5 first km of this cave was explored by explorers from British Cave Research Association in 2005, the whole 31 km was explored and publicly announced by the British cave explorers. This cave had been considered the longest cave in Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park. After lunch, you will visit Vinh Moc Tunnels on the way back to Hue. The Vinh Moc Tunnels remain unaltered and therefore offer an authentic view of underground life. You will enter a part of the Tunnels and explore the subterranean passageways. If time permits, you will  stop to visit Hien Luong Bridge, Ben Hai River, Con Tien, Doc Mieu combat bases which was the part of the former DMZ. Your tour ends at your hotel in Hue around 6:00pm.
