Saigon Cooking Class

Our guide and driver will come to meet you at your hotel in Saigon around 8:30am. Your culinary adventure begins at the busy Ben Thanh Market, which is considered by many to be the heart of Ho Chi Minh City selling everything from ready made clothes to food stuffs.  You will select all your ingredients used in your class, obviously the chef will guide you through all the weird and wonderful vegetables and herbs.

With your ingredients packed, you will move to cooking class center for a hands-on cooking lesson. You will be explained how the cuisine and the culinary art of Vietnam have developed throughout the years. Also learn about the set up of an original Vietnamese kitchen,  historical influences of Vietnamese food, which  is healthy and simply cooked, using many local fresh herbs, spices and vegetables. The class is divided into small groups  and lots of fun. You will try your hand at creating some typical dishes by yourself.  After all the dishes have been done, enjoy your lunch and taste your handiwork. Retun to your hotel and tour ends around 1:30pm.
