Vietnam - Thailand Family Tour

Transfer to visit Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office, Remnant War Museum, Giac Lam Pagoda, China Town with ancient Thien Hau Temple, bustling Binh Tay Market and Ben Thanh Market. Overnight in HCMC.

You will take an excursion to the Mekong Delta to the town of Vinh Long , take a floating boat to cruise of waterways and canals to Vinh Long. Stop at the home of a Bonsai gardener for a sumptuous Delta lunch, including the popular dish of 'Elephant ear fish, before continuing our exploration of the tributaries and canals of the delta. Toward the end of the day, you arrive in Can Tho city, heart of the Mekong Delta. Overnight in Can Tho.  

This morning taking a boat trip to visit the Cai Rang Floating market, one of the busiest floating markets in the South East Asia. After watching how locals live and market their products on boats and purchase among them, the boat will cruise back to North bank of Hau river where getting off and to Saigon airport for your flight to Hue. Overnight in Hue.

Morning you will take a private boat for cruising on the romantic Perfume River. This gives you a great view on the Perfume River and surrounding area. Your first stop is Thien Mu Pagoda then from here you will drive to visit Royal Tombs. After lunch, you will continue to Ancient Citadel and Forbidden Purple City and the Dong Ba Market. Overnight in Hue.

You will have a 3 hour drive to Hoian passing the Hai Van pass. Then a half day walking tour includes Japanese Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien Temple and Tan Ky Ancient House. Overnight in Hoi An.

Free time to relax and discover Hoi An ancient town by yourself. Overnight in Hoi An.

Morning  flight to Hanoi, you will be met by your guide and transferred to hotel for check-in. Tonight you will enjoy the Water Puppet Show near Thang Long Theater. Dinner and overnight in Hanoi

A full day city tour of Hanoi includes Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, his House on Stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, Quan Thanh Temple, the Temple of Literature and the Vietnam Ethnology Museum. After lunch, take a cyclo for an hour to visit Old quarter streets. Overnight in Hanoi.

Morning depart to Halong Bay, which is considered the 8th wonder of the world.  Sip on a refreshing welcome drink upon check in before you begin your cruise through the bay. Feast on a delicious lunch as you cruise among hundreds of islets (Dinh Huong islet, Ga Choi Fighting Cock islet, Dog islet, Finger islet, etc.) to discover unspoilt pockets of Halong Bay and visit Sung Sot cave, one of the most imposing grottos of the Bay. Swim at Soi Sim beach or Titov beach or a short trek to the top of Titov Mountain for a magnificent panoramic scenery. After visiting Amazing cave, you can go kayaking from Soi Sim beach to Luon Cave to enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the bay (or from Bo Nau cave, to Soi Sim beach to TiTov) Enjoy your dinner with fresh seafood on board. Squid fishing or relax and chatting with your partner, friends, family. Overnight on board.

For early risers complimentary tea, coffee, fruit and cake are served. Visit Luon cave on small bamboo boat paddle by out crew staff and enjoy the quiet atmosphere enclosed by high islets and mountains. Be back to our Huong Hai Junk. Sail past rock formations such as Man’s Head islet, Tortoise islet, Butterfly cave, Lion islet, Bai Tho mountain, enjoy the tranquil scenery as the boat meanders its way through the bay on the way back to Ha Long city, etc. Arrange your luggage and do the check out onboard at around 9.00 am. Enjoy a wholesome brunch as your boat weaves through strange-shaped limestone rock formations. Arrive back at Ha Long city for disembarkation, return to Hanoi for your overnight stay.

Afte breakfast, you will fly to Chiang Mai and enjoy seeing how elephants are used to help in logging work. You will also take an elephant ride around 45 minutes and take Oxcart tour about 30 minutes.  After lunch, you will visit Wat Doi Suthep, the most sacred temple in Chiang Mai which containing a holy relic of the Lord Buddha, then back to the hotel for your overnight stay.

Today you will leave from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai. On the way you will visit the most famous local industry at Sankampang District to see silk weaving, umbrella making, wood carving and silvers ware. Overnight in Chiang Rai.

You will visit Chiang Saen by taking a boat along the Mae Kong River around 30 minutes and then continue to Golden Triangle and Mae Sai (Burmese border). After lunch, you will visit Akha and Yao Villages and walk around the villages to see their lifestyle. Overnight in Chiang Rai.

You will go to visit the highest peak on the Thai–Myanmar border. Doitung provides an opportunity to view en route many different Lahu and Akha village as well as terraced farming areas and sees from distance the Princess Mother’s frigid flower Garden. Doitung temple is located at the peak. Its scenery reminds of overlooking the entire northern rice field plain. Afterward transfer to Chiang Rai airport for your flight back to Bangkok. Overnight in Bangkok.

Free at leisure till transferring to airport for your flight home. End of services.
